If I ever have children, my only request is that they follow whatever path makes them happy. I will support them wholeheartedly in whatever they do, given that it is within reason (as in, I won’t support them if they choose to blow up a country or something).
this is excellent. pretty much exactly how i plan to raise my future kid(s). the only one i’m a little nitpicky with is the one about prom; while i didn’t give a shit about my prom night because i thought it was pretty stupid (and i still maintain that opinion), i don’t think it’d be fair to force that viewpoint on my kid(s). i’d basically just allow them to decide if they wanted to go at all or not, but let them know that it won’t be the end of the fucking world if they decide not to attend. otherwise, everything else is spot-on.

Mostly agree. Prom is fine if they want to, and I will encourage them to not have sex very young, but would never call them a whore or think of them as one.
I am crazy worried about the child of whoever is posting the original stuff. Awful.
